The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands hotel is in an integrated development and takes a simple approach to luxury. Modern waterfront villas have private pools, simple ingredients are transformed by skilled chefs and mixologists, healing is guided by directional energy, and nature is explored with respect and awe. The resort's three islands and overwater quay are a good place to start exploring the rest of the archipelago.
The hotel has five restaurants and bars that serve food from around the world. There are two restaurants in Fari Marina Village. There is an Asian food trailer and a Lebanese grill. There are nine treatment rooms at the Ritz-Carlton Spa, including a Spa suite, relaxation areas, and a salon. There are daily activities, playgrounds, napping pods, and a children's pool at the Ritz Kids Club, which is both indoors and outdoors. North Malé Atoll is where you can find the Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands. The trip to the island from Velana International Airport (Male"“MLE), which is 28 miles/45 km away, takes about 60 minutes.
Waiting Time: Shared speedboat: If you arrive at the same time as other guests, you may have to wait up to 45 minutes while they get from the plane to the speedboat. Seaplane for Two: From the time you check in to the time you leave, you may have to wait 45 to 60 minutes while the seaplane airline checks in all passengers and loads their luggage onto the plane. When you are ready to leave, our Airport Aris Meeha will walk you to the seaplane platform for your 10-minute trip. As this is a shared seaplane transfer, the seaplane may sometimes stop at other places on the way to and from our Resort.

A restaurant on the water that serves modern Chinese food.
Summer Pavilion is an intimate restaurant that floats over a velvety lagoon and is decorated with lanterns. Cantonese food is the star of the show here. Its dishes, like stir-fried lobster, are meant to be shared with fine Chinese teas and wines from the restaurant's large wine cellar.
There is also a private dining room for a classier experience.

JAPANESE FLAVORS OFFERED IN AN INTIMATE, OPEN-AIR SETTING
Iwau means "to celebrate" in Japanese, and that's exactly what it is: a way to honor Japanese flavors. The restaurant is open to the night sky and has a lively Japanese Chef's Table with fresh seafood and meat dishes made in unique ways. Sushi and sashimi are served at tables for two that are built right into the pool. There is a large selection of Japanese sakes, whiskies, and teas to go with the food.

From Wednesday to Monday, the store is open from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

In the afternoon, you can go to Eau Bar, which has a laid-back, glitzy setting and almost feels like an adult-only restaurant. The perfect place to relax, read a book, eat fresh oysters and caviar, and sip cocktails made with organic and fresh ingredients right at your table. This is in line with the restaurant's concept of "sustainable gastronomy." Every night at sunset, a beautiful ritual takes place.

THE MEDITERRANEAN MEETS THE MALDIVES
With sand underfoot and the sea just a few steps away, the Beach Shack is a great place for families to go. Its laid-back atmosphere and food are inspired by the Mediterranean. Shared plates and seafood cooked on the grill are served with fruit- and herb-based cocktails and a wide range of French rosé. Throughout the day, resident and guest DJs play music, kids can listen to stories by the fire, and weekly themed events focus on art, fashion, and food.

RITZ KIDS
At The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, Ritz Kids is a way for families and children to learn about the area. The program is for kids ages 4 to 12 and is built around four pillars: land, water, environmental responsibility, and culture. These four pillars are used to make a daily schedule of activities, such as sports, arts and crafts, cooking classes, and more. The experience takes place in the Ritz Kids Club, a futuristic indoor-outdoor space with playgrounds, napping pods, a place to play video games and watch movies, and a pool with slides and jets.
AN ISLAND DESTINATION OFFERING ADVENTURE AND CULTURE
The resort is a part of the whole Fari Islands Archipelago, so there are things to do both on and off the property. On the beach and in the water, you can play volleyball, kayak, snorkel, and tennis. Ritz Kids is a separate area for kids to play in, where they can play video games or swim in a pool just for them. Explore the Indian Ocean by doing water sports like Stand Up Paddle, kayaking, snorkeling, or even Scuba Diving. Join our Ladies & Gentlemen for beach activities like volleyball, cricket, and petanque, or eat at Beach Shack, our family-friendly restaurant just a few steps from the water.
PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO
The Shutterfish Photography Studio at the resort adds to the guest experience by giving them a wide range of things to do in the wonderful field of photography.
Experts in natural light, digital, and drone photography run the studio's weekly classes on digital and mobile photography and digital photo editing. The studio also rents out all the equipment needed for holiday and high-end photography and gives guests a free Portrait Session while they are there.
THE SESSION FOR PORTRAITS
During this experience, guests will be taken to at least 5 of The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands' most beautiful and well-known spots to make sure they have #RCMemories that will last a lifetime. Guests will be given a souvenir frame with their favorite picture from the session as a thank you (the rest of the images are available at a cost).

The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands is proud to host the first Jean-Michel Cousteau's Ambassadors of the Environment program in the Asia-Pacific region. This program is unique to the Ritz-Carlton brand. This fun, active, and inspiring outdoor education program has been created over many years by Jean-Michel Cousteau, Dr. Richard Murphy, and the team at Ocean Futures Society. It helps guests of all ages learn more about the natural wonders above and below the water.
Jean-Michel Cousteau's Ambassadors of the Environment have programs all over the world. These programs cover a wide range of topics, including the ocean and coral reefs, nature ecology, living in a sustainable way, and the traditional Maldivian culture.
Through the Ocean Futures Society, this partnership brings a wide range of exciting activities and research opportunities to this unique place, which has about a thousand islands, 99 percent of which are covered by water, and unique tropical plants and animals.
