Surfing in the Maldives
A short boat ride from Kurumba Maldives, and you're there: one of the prime surf spots on the planet. In the North Malé Atoll, our experienced instructors cater to students of all skill levels.
The roar of the waves. The taste of salt and adrenaline. White foam over azure waters. A sense of victory like nothing you've experienced as you ride the barrel to the white sand shore.
Surfing season in North Malé Atoll generally runs from mid-April to mid-October.
Jet Ski Safari
One of Kurumba's most popular activities, an exhilarating experience not to be missed. Visit other islands in the Maldives, snorkel a hidden reef and explore enchanting spots only accessible by Jet Ski.
An environmentally friendly approach to jet skiing, using the latest craft with low emissions and noise levels. Get up close with the island's natural beauty while preserving its quiet harmony. As you journey, one of our experienced guides shares Maldivian wisdom and points out local Islands and snorkelling spots.

Diving for Kids
Introduce the kids to a captivating world of marine life. The Dive Centre offers SASY (Supplied Air System for Youth) Dives for children between the ages of 5 and 7 years.
For children between 8 and 9 years, the Bubble Maker program provides a real scuba diving experience in the Kurumba Maldives lagoon, or on the Kurumba Maldives house reef with a maximum depth of 2 meters.
Discover Scuba Diving
An excellent first-time diving experience. Includes a short introductory course, followed by a shallow water dive in the lagoon. The highlight: a house reef dive or shallow boat dive in the afternoon to hone your new found skills. Available most days on a request basis and for adults or children aged 10 years and over.
Snorkeling
A placid sanctuary to explore. The Kurumba Maldives lagoon is surrounded by wave breakers, which reduce waves and currents for ideal snorkeling conditions. An average depth of 1 to 1.5 meters.
Please note that offerings are divided into tours suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced snorkelers.

Dhivehi-beys is a traditional Maldivian herbal medicine that has been passed from generation to generation. At Veli Spa, we have taken great care in preserving these ancient remedies by adapting them to modern day spa therapies. Ingredients are sourced locally using mainly indigenous plants, roots of trees and oils. These recipes have been highly guarded as ancient secrets with many Maldivians still using these therapies today.
