Zeldiva luxury

If youre looking for a luxurious vacation with stunning white sand beaches, fantastic food, and activities galore, the Maldives is the place to go.

The Maldives has a reputation for being extravagant, exclusive, and lavish. Its the place for luxury.

But, curious about where to stay in the Maldives? Jumeirah Group has you covered. With so many resorts to choose from, the new Jumeirah Maldives offers a breathtaking experience for all.

Come with us as we take you through the indulgences of this resort.

Jumeirah Group

Jumeirah Group is a luxury hospitality company from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The company operates 24 Jumeirah properties, including its flagship hotel, the Burj Al Arab.

The Jumeirah name is synonymous with extravagance. The company has transformed the definition of luxury travel.

The architecture of the Burj Al Arab inspires each of its properties worldwide. Jumeirah offers unforgettable luxurious spaces with warm hospitality to elevate hotel standards.

Jumeirah Group is committed to high-quality service and exhilarating experiences.

In 2018, José Silva took over as the Jumeirah Group CEO. Since then, the company has had exceptional success in Dubai and regionally. He continues to develop the company through property ownership and acquisition. The group plans to expand throughout the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.

Silva also made food and beverage a core brand pillar for the Jumeirah Group. Each property offers rich dining experiences and new restaurant concepts.

Currently, Jumeirah includes properties like Jumeirah At Saadiya Island Resort Abu Dhabi, Jumeirah Guangzhou, and Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel London.

The company owns several private residences for short stays, extended trips, and primary residences. Again, they heightened hospitality with cutting-edge technology and fantastic finishes.

Their latest project is luxury villas in the Maldives. Jumeirah Maldives Olhahali Island opened its doors to visitors on October 1, 2021. Lets take a look inside.

Jumeirah Maldives

Jumeirah Group Maldives is in North Malé Atoll. This resort offers seclusion for romantic getaways and activities for families.

Singaporean-based Miaja Design Group created the distinctive panoramic architecture for the resort. Its Mediterranean style blends in with the natural environment for serene feelings.

Pristine white sand beaches meet the crystal waves of the Indian Ocean at every turn.

Guests can access Jumeirah Group villas in the Maldives by a 60-minute luxury speedboat ride or a 15-minute seaplane ride from Malé Airport.

Although the resort opened just one month ago, its already receiving rave reviews from guests. So what sets this resort apart from others in the Maldives?

The Villas

Jumeirah Maldives Olhahali Island has 67 villas. They start at 1,840 square feet (171 square meters), making them some of the most spacious villas in all North Malé Atoll.

Guests can choose to stay beachside or overwater in a one-, two-, or three-bedroom villa. Each has expansive views of the Indian Ocean.

Plus, every villa has an infinity pool and a large rooftop terrace with a dining area. These Sky Lounges are a first for any resort in the Maldives. They inspire indoor-outdoor living. Guests can dine and enjoy a movie under the stars in their private Sky Lounges.

In addition, the three-bedroom villas come equipped with private gyms.

The villas have oversized windows to maximize the natural light. Further, guests will find unique artwork and handcrafts throughout the villas.

Dining

Jumeirah Maldives has two signature restaurants called Shimmers and Kayto. They both offer exquisite cuisine.

Moreover, there are two other restaurants on the island. The Café Lounge offers the best beans for coffee lovers and light snacks throughout the day.

Glow is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It serves international cuisine in an open-air dining concept. Guests can stop in for a snack, meal, or some drinks when they please.

Shimmers

Shimmers is a beach club with all-day Greek and Mediterranean dishes. It serves Michelin-recognized Chef Robert Rispolis respected menu. A resident DJ plays chill vibes. The club also hosts regular live music performances.

Its the perfect place to enjoy the sun, have some cocktails, and relax with delicious food. Simmers is one of our favorite parts of the Jumeirah Maldives experience.

Kayto

Kayto offers guests an open-kitchen concept with Peruvian Nikkei cuisine. This unique mix of flavors leaves guests with an unforgettable experience.

The Kayto concept originated at Jumeirah Al Naseem in Dubai with Head Chef Cristian Goya. His grandparents sailed from Japan to Argentina, which left him experiencing food through two distinct cultures. Guests are lucky to taste his culinary expertise.

Wellness

Talise Spa has six overwater treatment rooms. You can get a full spa experience with therapeutic and organic beauty treatments. There is an adjacent kids wellness spa so children can stay healthy and relaxed too.

The Talise Spa also offers daily rooftop yoga and tai chi classes. There are separate classes for adults and children to enjoy.

Finally, guests will find a 24-hour fitness center. Its fully equipped for cardio and weightlifting workouts.

Experiences

Those choosing to stay at Jumeirah resorts know to expect unique experiences.

The property offers activities like high adrenaline water sports, beach volleyball, billiards, and tennis. Plus, the propertys court location is phenomenal.

Non-sport activities include underwater photography, coconut tree planting, making coconut oil, and a submarine tour.

The resort has a world-class PADI diving center for renowned diving and private yacht voyages. In addition, guests can go on a night voyage to experience the elusive underwater world.

Guests can go shopping at the Beach Boutique for the best designer beachwear.

Of course, the resort also offers private butler service. Services include check-in, arranging experiences, and PCR testing before departure. This is a massive bonus for international travelers whose home countries have COVID restrictions.

Splash Waterpark

The beachside splash waterpark at the kids club is sure to keep kids busy all day long. Jumeirah is one of the few resorts in the Maldives with water slides. So wed say the splash waterpark is a unique addition for children.

Play Area

Jumeirah Maldives also has an indoor kids play area. Its great for a rainy day or when the kids need some downtime. Children can engage in forward-thinking workshops and inspirational classes. Adults may have extra offerings throughout the week too.

Outdoor Cinema

The resort features an outdoor cinematic experience. Families can enjoy the latest blockbusters. They can also request a private screening on their Sky Lounge. Its easy to set up with the help of the butlers.

COVID-19 Safety

Jumeirah Group is dedicated to proactivity addressing public health concerns associated with COVID-19. They work with health and tourism authorities across all their properties to ensure safety.

In fact, the group partnered with two hygiene and safety industry giants, Bureau Veritas and Ecolab. The companies audit the hygiene practices across the guests journey to ensure compliance and safety.

Bureau Veritas awarded several Jumeirah Group hotels their Safeguard label, which is the highest level hygiene standard.

At the Resort

Upon arrival, you will see all staff wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. Jumeirah asks guests at their resorts to wear masks in public spaces and keep a two-meter distance from other groups. Besides, they offer masks to guests across the resort for convenience.

You will also find sanitizing gel and wipes throughout the resort.

All Jumeirah Group employees received training in good hygiene practices. In addition, the staff conducts regular temperature checks and fog public areas based on foot traffic.

Staff thoroughly sanitize all restaurants before each service. Buffet options are now available á la carte, spaced-out tables maintain social distancing, and all tables have sanitizer dispensers.

Every day, housekeepers clean and aerate each room. After guests leave, housekeepers leave the room vacant for three days as an extra safety measure. If hotel occupancy is full, housekeepers completely fog the residences.

All pillows and duvets undergo a thermal hygiene process. Plus, housekeepers change pillow and mattress protectors after each checkout.

Each hotel and resort also takes behind-the-scenes measures with employee transportation, food service, and laundry to ensure maximum safety and compliance with local regulations.

Most importantly, Jumeirah Group offers flexible cancellations. All guests can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 24-hours before arrival if COVID-19 restrictions prevent them from traveling.

This is especially helpful for travelers who receive a positive PCR test, canceled flight, or travel ban.

Jumeirah Group prides itself on caring for its guests. Thus, they are taking every action possible to keep everyone safe while enjoying luxurious travel.
